Yes. The transaction fees are:
Bank accounts: 1% of the donation + .30.
Credit/Debit cards: 2.9% of the donation + .30
American Express cards: 3.0% of the donation + .30
Maranatha Baptist Church does not require a donor to cover the transaction fee. Covering the fees is an option for the donor. The church will pay the fee if the donor doesn’t cover it. Covered fee amounts are also included on the annual giving statement.
The church will pay a $19/monthly fee to support our Text-to-Give phone number.
Yes. Actually it is more secure than paper checks handling. The Tithe.ly platform is used by hundreds of churches for online giving.

No. Donations to each fund must be made separately.
Yes. Select the “Designation (use memo)” fund and specify the name of the designated person in the Memo field.
Yes. Contact the church treasurer at mbc35treas@gmail.com to request a refund.
Donors who give both in person and online will receive two separate giving statements. Online donations will be reported on a statement directly from Tithe.ly. In-person donations will be reported on a statement from the Financial Secretary.
A deposit of all cleared transactions is made to our bank account each Monday.
