Adult Ministries

At 8am each morning, Monday through Friday, the church family has an opportunity to gather in the fellowship hall to pray for the needs of the church and its supported missionaries. The time of prayer concludes with a testimony or challenge from the Bible.

The first Saturday of each month, the men gather in our fellowship hall for a delicious breakfast, a time of singing and prayer, and a testimony or challenge from God’s word.

During the Sunday School hour, anyone is welcome to attend the auditorium class. The speakers and topics rotate every few months.

During the Sunday School hour, ladies are welcome to attend a class taught by Mina Oglesby. Mina is a gifted singer and conference speaker. She brings lessons from God’s word to life with her sparkling personality and wit.

Ladies gather on the 3rd Tuesday of each month, except during summer, to further the mission program of the church by sharing information about supported missionaries, by prayer, and by provision of material needs of missionaries. They enjoy light refreshments, singing, prayer, and hearing from visiting missionaries or focusing on a specific country or part of the world. They contribute to special mission projects each year in conjunction with Sunshine Baptist Fellowship.

During a separate monthly workday, ladies do craft projects to support missions. Items they make include sun dresses, handmade greeting cards, and bookmarks. Visiting missionaries have an opportunity to visit the missionary closet for items to help in their ministries.

Each winter, we host multiple 4-day Bible conference events meant to educate and challenge our church family and guests. Our speakers are distinguished pastors, authors, and leaders of the Christian faith.

We offer an opportunity to gather once each month in groups of 8 over a meal. This allows our church family to build relationships with each other in a small group setting.

Each Monday evening at 6pm, we set aside time to pray for our nation, its leaders, and its citizens.

Maranatha Manor is a 17-bed state-licensed assisted living facility adjacent to the church campus. It is a ministry of the church that provides a safe and loving environment for those who are no longer able to live on their own. The kitchen also provides meals to shut-in residents of Maranatha Village.
